Ryan Xavier is a seasoned sports and events leader with extensive experience in management, coaching, and community engagement. He currently serves as President of Ontario Basketball, while also coaching men’s basketball at the University of Toronto Scarborough and teaching Sport Management at Durham College. 

Ryan has held leadership roles at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre, MLSE, and the National Basketball League of Canada, and has managed major events including the Ontario Summer Games and the Invictus Games. 

He is recognized for building high-performing teams and fostering opportunities that connect sport, business, and community.

Keith Nugura is an experienced executive leader and strategist with over 30 years of experience in the Financial, Health, and Government sectors, holding senior roles at Scotiabank, BCE Emergis, TELUS, and Dye & Durham. He currently serves as Vice President of Global Business Development at TELUS Health. 

Keith is recognized for his leadership in business growth, team development, and complex commercial negotiations. He is also a dedicated mentor and community advocate, serving on the boards of the Scarborough Health Network and the Scarborough Business Association.

Celestia Richards is a senior advancement professional with expertise in strategic growth, relationship building, and organizational development. 

With a background in education and leadership from the University of Toronto, she has led initiatives in advancement, planned giving, and team development, fostering partnerships and driving community impact. 

As an SBA Board Member, Celestia leverages her experience to support small business growth, inclusion, and sustainable economic development.

Sam Ibrahim is a Scarborough-born entrepreneur and business leader, founder and President of the Arrow Group of Companies, which has grown into one of Canada’s largest private conglomerates with over 20 companies and 10,000 employees across multiple continents. 

He has diversified interests in consulting, talent solutions, finance, health and wellness, and sports, and is co-founder of the Scarborough Shooting Stars professional basketball team. 

A proud University of Toronto Scarborough alumnus, Sam is also a generous community supporter, establishing the Sam Ibrahim Centre for Inclusive Excellence in Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Leadership to empower future Scarborough innovators and leaders.

Anthony Furey is an accomplished journalist, columnist, and media commentator with over 15 years of experience in news, broadcasting, and strategic communications. 

He has contributed to the Toronto Sun, hosted national radio programs, and provided media and business consulting services. A civic-minded leader, 

Anthony ran in the 2023 Toronto mayoral by-election and continues to support initiatives that promote community engagement, economic growth, and the advancement of Toronto’s business and social landscape.

Kayla Williams is a TV personality, host, and emcee with over a decade of experience in broadcast journalism and live television and native from Scarborough.  

A former Anchor/Reporter at CP24, Toronto’s leading breaking news channel, she has covered major global and cultural events including the Toronto International Film Festival and the Tokyo Olympics. Today, Kayla is a sought-after host for corporate events, brand activations and panel discussions, known for her engaging presence, sharp storytelling, and ability to connect with any audience. A former collegiate and professional volleyball player, Kayla now coaches at Redeemer University using her knowledge to pour into the next generation of athletes. She is also an avid golfer and enjoys growing the game of golf and making it more relatable and fun for all. 

Jesse Asido is the founder of Scarborough Spots, a community‑centred media and retail brand that began as an Instagram account during the COVID‑19 pandemic and has since grown into a thriving hub celebrating the people, businesses, and culture of Scarborough. 

Through Scarborough Spots, Jesse highlights local stories, promotes small businesses, and reshapes perceptions of the community with engaging content and merchandise. 

His work extends beyond social media to a physical retail space in Eglinton Square and community initiatives that support local causes, using creativity and entrepreneurship to uplift Scarborough’s voice and identity!

Isaiah is the Founder of Saeculum Inc. and a Wealth Management Consultant at Owen’s MacFadyen Group. He earned an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto Scarborough. He is actively involved in service at his local church in Malvern and has formerly volunteered with Scarborough Arts. Isaiah contributes to thought leadership in commercial real estate through his work at Saeculum Inc. and serves on the City of Pickering’s Property Review Committee.
