Founded in 2015, the Scarborough Business Association (SBA) is a non-profit, community-driven organization created to unite, support, and advocate for the dynamic and diverse business community in Scarborough. Emerging from the 2014 Scarborough Rotary Club, the SBA was formed through the collaboration of local business leaders, community champions, and institutions who recognized the need for a strong, united voice to drive economic growth and opportunity in the region.

Officially launched on October 22, 2015, the SBA was established with the support of key partners including Centennial College, the University of Toronto Scarborough, Metroland Media, and Scarborough Town Centre. From the outset, the association has operated as a non-profit, volunteer-led organization, focused on building meaningful connections, encouraging local investment, and promoting the unique strengths of Scarborough’s business landscape.

Create meaningful connections through events, forums, and networking opportunities.
 

Support local businesses with advocacy, education, and resources that help them grow.
 

Promote Scarborough as a thriving economic hub with unmatched diversity, talent, and potential.
