The Scarborough Business Association has launched a new working group on LinkedIn.
“We’d like to be the broker of discussion on various aspects of business life in Scarborough,“ said group moderator Peter Haggert.
“It gives Scarborough businesses an opportunity to swap information and talk to us about what they feel is important in the business community,” he said.
LinkedIn is a free online business network that’s growing in use. With 380 million members worldwide and 11 million in Canada. “It offers a chance for us to get to know individuals interested in joining and contributing to the association,” said Haggert.
The Scarborough business community increasingly has world-wide ties. The working group becomes a searchable resource for others on the benefits of doing business in Scarborough.
