Domenic Primucci highlights fantastic first-ever SBA breakfast event
More than 100 people turned out for the Scarborough Business Association’s (SBA) first-ever networking speaker breakfast.
“That’s a fantastic number for our first breakfast!” said Marg Middleton, President of the SBA. “We really appreciate both the support and the interest we’ve had from the business community.”
Guest speaker for the breakfast was Domenic Primucci, President of Pizza Nova, a long-time family business which grew from one Scarborough outlet to now 140 stores across the province.
Primucci didn’t disappoint. Drawing from the experience of his family, he shared stories of building the business, branding the company and placed great emphasis on key strategies of the organization – including the necessity to build a winning culture within the organization.
While an outstanding business success, Pizza Nova is also well-known as an organization that gives back to the community.
Primucci stayed behind well after the event ended to greet a long line of attendees who wanted to meet him and share their own story of how the Pizza Nova brand has become a piece of their family lore.
“Domenic was so well received and he spoke so well. That’s the kind of event we want to host on a monthly basis,” said Middleton.
Monthly networking and speaker breakfasts will be held the second Wednesday of the month at JC’s Banquet and Grill House, 1686 Ellesmere Rd. in Scarborough.
