SBA hits the 200 participant limit four days ahead of the launch
Some said it was inevitable. Others were worry warts. But in the end, the Scarborough Business Association will have a full house when it launches, Thursday Oct. 22.
“It shows the need and interest in bringing this association together,” said event chair Raffy Chouljian, paying credit to the board of directors and event committee for accomplishing the “sell-out.”
Thursday evening’s launch is at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre on Morningside Ave and is being sponsored by UofT Scarborough campus.
Attendees will hear support for the association from community leaders, and will be invited to join the dialogue on what the priorities of the association should include.
“There’s a lot of excitement about the SBA,” said Chouljian. It’s a shame we can’t have more people attend the event, however, we’d encourage everyone interested to fill out the short survey on our www.scarboroughbusinessassociation.com website.
“Your direction will really help us provide programming and service to the business community.”
